Protected Gold™ is a optional warranty that covers your jewelry purchased through our website. Each order comes with this warranty for up to one year and it may be extended by purchasing one of the option listed here.
No repair fees. No questions asked. In the event that any breakage should occur in the gold due to any reason, the piece will be repaired or replaced with the exact same design at no cost to you. This warranty includes side gemstone or diamond replacements up to 2 millimeters.
This warranty does not cover damage as a result of abuse, misuse, loss or theft. In the rare event a center diamond or center gemstone is broken due to negligence we will offer a fair price to have it replaced.
Items previously repaired, resized, or polished by someone other than Sermez Inc are not covered by this warranty. Gemstone changes from the original order are not permitted.

If you have not purchased a warranty when you ordered your ring, you may add a repair order through the Submit Repair product.
We do not accept unreasonable repairs. Example: Having your ring accidentally crushed out of shape with prongs bent out of shape ect. We will simply return the ring back to you.
To upgrade to a custom gold alloy, rush handcrafted time or premium delivery, add your desired Superpack selection at the your time of purchase.

Each Nora Sermez artifact passes a documented final protocol, including loupe inspection, dimensional verification, and photo archiving, before it departs our Scottsdale studio, ensuring the piece leaves in flawless condition. Crafted from certified Fair trade gold, each piece is fully warranted against any defect in materials or workmanship.

Handcrafted Time
Each (art)ifact is made to order in our studio, handcrafted just for you. Production generally takes 6 weeks, though this timeframe may be slightly shorter or longer depending on the intricacies of your design and materials required. Shipping
Shipping in the US is free on orders over $900. A signature will be required on orders over $400. Rates for international orders are calculated at checkout.
Ethically Sourced
At Nora Sermez ethics are non negotiable. We cast only with fair trade gold, crown our designs in responsibly sourced natural gems or low impact lab diamonds, and finish every piece under the desert hands of master jewelers in Scottsdale. Rings featuring center diamonds over 0.5 CT arrive with full grading dossiers (GIA, GCAL or IGI). The result: conscience clean luxury that blazes with uncompromised brilliance.
Care Guide
Our pieces are made to last, crafted in solid gold or platinum, using high quality natural and lab grown stones. They’re designed for daily wear, but like all fine jewelry, they’re not indestructible.
Rings should always be treated with care. Physical impact, especially activities like weightlifting, moving heavy objects, or accidental drops, can bend prongs, loosen stones, or damage settings. Damage from impact is not considered a defect and won’t be covered under any warranty.
Our in house alloys are hypoallergenic. Most of our designs can be worn in the shower, with the exception of opals. Opals are naturally porous and can absorb water, becoming cloudy or translucent, we strongly recommend keeping them dry.
For rings, strictly avoid chlorinated media, swimming pools, hot tubs, household bleach, because chloride ions accelerate galvanic corrosion, pitting the gold alloy and degrading both its surface luster and the structural integrity of prongs.
To keep your ring sparkling, soak it in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap once or twice a month. Gently brush around and underneath the stone with a soft toothbrush, rinse, and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
You may also use an at home ultrasonic cleaner but only for designs without opals, emeralds, or delicate prong settings, and never if your ring has sustained any impact. When in doubt, hand cleaning is always safest.
Please note: body oils, lotions, and soap residue can cause gemstones to appear cloudy over time. This is easily cleaned with the method above.
