Tell me about your sustainability practices.

We use fair trade gold and ethically sourced materials to make our own alloys and control the entire production process at our studio. All natural diamonds are screened by GIA. And our lab grown diamonds are provided by CGAL or IGI.

Additionally, we work with gemstones that originate from mines that actively promote socially responsible practices, have taken steps to minimize their environmental footprint, and contribute to social projects. We can and only choose to work with suppliers that share these values.

Nora has personally invested in earth-ai.com. An organization that is building their own mines as well as cutting edge technology that is designed to limit the impact mining has on the environment.

Do you have a shop we can visit?

We sell directly to you and maintain focus on sustainability, artistry and excellence in craftsmanship.

Tell me about gemstone certification.

Complimentary GIA GCAL IGI grading for Natural or Lab Center Stone Diamonds:

Orders that have chosen a clear natural diamond center stone 0.5 carat and above will arrive with a complimentary GIA certification for natural or a complimentary IGI or GCAL certification for lab cultivated on the center diamond.

What if I want a natural colored gemstone piece or fancy colored diamond piece to be certified?

If you wish to certify a gemstone for your personal records or for any other reasons we recommend to visit your local gemologist for a full report. Pieces set with natural color diamonds such as icy or salt and pepper diamonds can be analyzed by your local gemologist. Pieces set with natural colored gemstones can also be analyzed by your local gemologist. A gemologists fee's vary by location and expertise.

Do you make bigger/smaller sizes?

All available ring sizes are clearly listed on our website. As a small business our production process adheres to strict design specifications to maintain the highest quality and structural integrity of our rings. Each size offered in our listings is carefully chosen to ensure it complements the design and ensures durability. Our standard size range includes sizes from 4 to 9.

If you’d like any (art)ifact in a size larger than 9, it will require a custom order to ensure the setting is reinforced for added strength and durability. You can begin the process here by starting a custom order.

Why are bigger sizes higher in price?

The bigger the ring the more it weighs in pure gold which is an expensive precious metal. Our pricing on bigger pieces sized 8 and up still remains competitive.

What metals do you use for your rings?

We use solid 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white, and rose or Platinum. You can use our Superpack Upgrade to customize your choice of metal.

How do I know my ring size?

There are a few different ways to determine your ring size. Your ring size also depends on how tight or loose you like to wear your jewelry. Our fingers get a bit bigger in hot weather and smaller in cold weather, so you also may want to also keep your environment in mind. For the easiest way to figure out your ring size you may order an adjustable ring sizer online.

Can I wear my jewelry in the shower?

For most pieces, yes! However, we recommend removing rings before showering to minimize exposure to soaps, shampoos, and other chemicals, which can weaken prongs over time and cause buildup on gemstones. Jewelry with opals or pearls should always be kept dry, as these stones are delicate and can absorb water.

Necklaces in solid gold are generally safe to wear in the shower, but keep in mind that regular exposure to chemicals may require occasional cleaning to maintain their shine. Avoid exposing any jewelry to chlorine, as it can weaken gold over time and cause damage, especially to prongs and gemstone settings. If you wear your rings in the shower, be sure to clean them periodically to remove soap and oil buildup that can cause fogginess.

Can you make this product in white or rose gold?

Our yellow gold pieces are subsidized at incredible prices as we can cast them in batches and pass the savings on to you but our specialized white gold, rose gold, or platinum alloys go through a separate casting process.

If you're interested these specialized alloys please add our Superpack Upgrade to your order at the same time as when you purchase your desired piece(s) of jewelry.

What if I got the wrong ring size?

Please reach out to us prior to purchasing your ring resize.

Can I change my ring size after my order is placed?

Please be sure of your size before ordering. We cannot accommodate size changes after an order is placed and goes into production. If you still want to change your size we can hold your ring once it is completed the handcrafting process to take it through a final resizing, the fee will be $300.

Do you offer financing options?

Yes, you can make payments through ShopPay and Klarna. Once you get to the 'payment' section when you've reached checkout, you can choose to pay either one.

Where are the pieces made?

All of our pieces are handcrafted in solid gold from beginning to end by master jewelers at our studio in Scottsdale, Arizona.

How do I keep my ring sparkling?

We recommend taking off your ring during physical activity and when you sleep. Once or twice a month, place your ring in warm water with a little dish detergent and let soak for a 40 minutes. Gently brush with a baby tooth brush around and underneath the stone setting. Rinse in warm water and dab dry with a soft cloth. This will keep it always looking new.

Do you sell rings without the stone?

No. We do not sell incomplete designs without the stones set. We do not accept stones outside of our supply standards. All of our center stone diamonds are sourced with conflict free, traceable origins and graded by GIA.

How durable is my ring?

Our jewelry is handcrafted in solid gold and made to last lifetimes. The design of our rings is guided by optimal durability principles to inform the final aesthetic. The gemstone durability of a ring depends on the hardness of the precious stone used and how it's worn and treated. Moonstones and Opals for instance are 6-6.5 Mohs, which requires more attention when doing physical activity.

Can I change the gemstone in an existing style?

We have access to all kinds of diamonds and gemstones. Let us know what you have in mind and we'd be happy to try and accommodate. Please use this form to submit a custom order: Start custom order

Are your sapphires natural or lab grown?

We offer both natural and lab grown sapphires, each carefully sourced to meet our high standards for quality and ethical practices.

Can all your rings be used as engagement rings?

Absolutely! Every piece is designed with engagement and bridal in mind, yet versatile enough to be the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one on any occasion. If you’re drawn to a Moonstone or Opal engagement ring, we recommend extra care, as these stones are more delicate than Diamonds or Sapphires. With the right precautions, your ring will remain just as enchanting for years to come.

Do you ship outside of the United States and Canada?

Yes, we ship globally. Prices at checkout do not include all applicable taxes that may be charged by the country where the transaction was originated. All duties or additional taxes charged are the responsibility of the buyer and will be due at the time of delivery.

Can I place a rush order?

Rush orders can be purchased with a Superpack. This fee includes UPS overnight shipping. Please note this option may not be available during the holiday season due to high demand.

What is your repair policy?

We welcome repairs, please submit a repair here.

We want you to enjoy your Nora Sermez designs for years to come. Should your piece ever need servicing, you can entrust our specialists with repairing it to preserve its beauty and longevity. In order to service your item, it must have been purchased through our store and have an order number.

Upon receipt, our jewelers will evaluate the item. The evaluation may take up to two weeks. We take into consideration time owned as well as condition received when evaluating a piece.

If you damaged your gemstone it will be replaced with the same one from your original order. The inside of the prong settings can't be changed to fit a new stone. We are unable to upgrade your original order with a stone already set. We are not responsible for broken stones but we will offer a fair price to have them replaced. Shipping charges and applicable duties and taxes will be your responsibility.

What is your return and exchange policy?

Our pieces are individually made to order, a process that takes 4 to 6 weeks in our studio. Once the handcrafted process begins, it cannot be reversed. Due to the significant costs involved in creating your order, we do not accept returns. Every item is thoroughly inspected before shipment to ensure it meets our highest standards and arrives in perfect condition.

In the extremely unlikely event that there is an issue with your jewelry please contact us within 7 days from your delivery date. We take great pride and care in each piece we handcraft from scratch, beginning to end.

Pieces marked as "in stock" via your purchase confirmation may be returned for a 20% restocking fee. Order cancellations will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, along with a 3% to 6% processing fee based on your payment method.

Can I change my address after placing an order?

The request can be accepted up to a week after the order is placed. If you are uncertain of where you'd like to receive the package, let us know in advance, our team will make a note to contact you soon as the ring is ready for shipment. Please contact us to update your shipping address.
