Due to our meticulous and specialized process we recommend placing your order at least 10 weeks ahead of your proposal date to allow for final detailing and delivery. This only applies to direct website orders, custom orders require an extended timeline.
Here’s how that timeline breaks down:
- Weeks 1–2: Wax model preparation
- Weeks 2–4: Casting and initial refinement
- Weeks 4–6: Cleaning and stone setting
- Weeks 6–8: Final polishing and finishing
- Week 8-10: Final quality control, documentation, secure shipping, and additional buffer time to ensure a seamless delivery
This ensures your ring is completed without rushing the craftsmanship or risking delays.
Why You Should Order Your Engagement Ring 10 Weeks in Advance
If you're planning a proposal, timing is everything. Ordering at least 10 weeks before your proposal date allows for:
- Intricate handcrafted design work
- Customizations or stone upgrades
- Precision stone sourcing and setting
- Final inspection and finishing
- Reliable shipping and delivery timing
Many of our designs, especially more detailed settings, require additional care and time to execute properly.
When Should You Order Your Engagement Ring?
To plan correctly: Take your proposal date and count back 10 weeks. That is your ideal order date.
What Happens If You Only Allow 8 Weeks?
While 8 weeks is our production baseline, it does not account for:
- Shipping time
- Final quality control
- Unexpected delays with materials or customization
Ordering within an 8 week window increases the risk of your ring arriving too close to your proposal date.
Custom Engagement Rings Timeline
For custom or heavily modified designs, timelines will extend beyond 10 weeks.
Custom projects involve:
- Design development and revisions
- Wax prototypes and approvals
- Structural adjustments for durability
If you're considering a custom ring, we recommend reaching out as early as possible.
Plan Your Proposal with Confidence
Your engagement ring is not just a purchase, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime piece.
We believe it should arrive:
- Thoughtfully made
- Perfectly finished
- Right on time
